Before you can start, you should first test the condition of your house facade. If you already know in advance how it is ordered around your house surface, our painters can directly submit you an even more suitable offer. The main question here is whether a primer of your facade is necessary and how sustainable your façade is. You can find out the condition of your house facade with three simple tricks:
1. The abrasion test
In the abrasion test for your facade, first rub the palm of your hand over the faсade. Remember that leaving a white and slightly floury coating on your hand means that your faсade should first be well cleaned and then primed.
2. The sponge test
The sponge test is about testing whether your faсade first needs a new primer or not. To do this, take a damp sponge and rub it over the wall of the house. If the water is drawn in very quickly, the surface needs a primer in front of the new facade painting.
3. Tape Test
Now it's about the load-bearing capacity of your faсade. Please stick a small piece of adhesive tape on the plaster to remove it afterwards. Do you see that the old paint gets stuck on the tape? Unfortunately, that does not speak for the painting and means that it has to be completely removed and renewed (at least at this point).
